2. Role of TippedRefund.com and Description of Services

TippedRefund.com operates as an independent online platform that facilitates introductions between eligible businesses and third-party providers of tax credit recovery services, specifically related to the FICA Tip Credit under Internal Revenue Code Section 45B.

TippedRefund.com does not itself provide tax preparation, tax advisory, accounting, legal, or IRS representation services.

All tax-related services are performed exclusively by independent third-party service providers, including Tip Credit Partners and its fulfillment and processing partner LenCred (collectively, the “Service Providers”), pursuant to separate agreements entered into directly between you and such Service Providers.

Services made available through the platform may include, but are not limited to: preliminary eligibility assessment for potential FICA tip credits; coordination of tax credit recovery services; preparation and processing of required tax forms and supporting documentation; communication with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by authorized representatives; compliance review to align claims with applicable tax laws; and secure collection and transmission of client-provided documentation.

2.1 Independent Service Providers

TippedRefund.com is not a law firm, accounting firm, tax advisory firm, or enrolled agent and does not provide regulated professional services.

Any tax credit analysis, preparation, filing, IRS correspondence, or professional judgment is provided solely by the Service Providers and their licensed professionals. TippedRefund.com does not supervise, direct, or control the professional services performed by the Service Providers.

TippedRefund.com is not responsible or liable for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or outcomes of any services performed by the Service Providers.

3. Affiliate Relationship Disclosure

We act as an independent referral partner to Tip Credit Partners. We receive compensation of 25% of the fee Tip Credit Partners collects per successfully processed refund. This financial relationship may influence the content and links provided on this website. This disclosure is made in compliance with FTC guidelines regarding affiliate relationships.

4. Eligibility and Client Obligations

4.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use the platform, you represent and warrant that you: are at least 18 years of age; have the legal authority to bind yourself or your business; operate or represent a business with tipped employees; have paid FICA taxes on employee tips; and provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.

4.2 Client Responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation; promptly respond to reasonable requests for additional information; maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials; notify us of material changes to your business or contact information; comply with all applicable laws and regulations; and review and comply with any agreements entered into with Service Providers.

5. SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

If we implement SMS messaging services, the following terms apply:

5.1 Program Description

This messaging program may send informational and service-related messages to users who have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications through our website at tippedrefund.com. Messages may include service updates, informational content, appointment reminders, and customer support communications.

5.2 Cancellation Instructions

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

5.4 Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5.6 Supported Carriers

Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

5.7 Age Restriction

6. Fees and Payment Terms

6.1 Contingency Fee Structure

Tax credit recovery services offered by the Service Providers are provided on a contingency fee basis, meaning: no upfront fees are charged; fees are owed only if tax credits are successfully recovered; the applicable fee percentage will be disclosed in a separate service agreement; and if no credits are recovered, no contingency fees are owed.

6.2 Payment Terms

Any fees charged in connection with tax credit recovery services are assessed, invoiced, and collected solely by the Service Providers, not by TippedRefund.com, and are governed exclusively by the applicable service agreement between you and the Service Providers.

TippedRefund.com does not collect, hold, or control contingency fees for tax credit recovery services.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Limited License to You

This Site and all the materials available on the Site are the property of TippedRefund.com and/or our affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal non-commercial use.

You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us.
